 Project progress

Starting off the project this week, I am keeping an open mind about it. It will be difficult creating a game with no step by step instructions like the other game the year is currently creating. For my game, my plan is to keep it simple so during the brainstorming part of the process. I don't want to make the game too complicated and harder on myself to make. I do like a good challenge but in this case, I want to keep it simple and keep my end goal of, having a game that works. Whether that is just jumping over boxes as in an obstacle and running along or something different. I feel something along the lines of flappy bird or subway surfers but facing on a side profile.

 What is a game, anyway? I have decided to write notes as I'm reading through it because if not I will forget key information that I wanted to say in my blog for this piece.  In the gaming world, there are a lot of people who are very passionate about gaming and therefore have strong opinions. some people live to game, they do it for fun, in their spare time and have a job in this department. As I said, some people live to game. So, when Irene says that some people disagree with her definition of gaming. I understand that because it's an open field so everyone is entitled to their own opinions.  I played the game three to fifteen. It's a simple game and a very well-known game. Publishing task 2

 What I'll build   I aim to create a website on swimming. I run my own swimming school. I want to be able to create a website in the next year or two for my business. I feel by doing this website on swimming, will give me good practice for when I come to creating my own. I aim to create a 5-page website. My pages will include a bit about me, a place for parents to book their children in for swimming, a price list, a page about the swim school, and contact details. Each page in the website will be user freindly and include enough information and visuals. Each page will hopefully exceed the info that viewers are looking for. Once they have view my website, the goal is taht they will have more than enough knowlegde.
