 Professional project  Week 12 Project 14  This is final week of professional project.  It is Monday 8th may. I have completed everything I needed to. I have my reports all done. All that I have left to do is finish off my presentation and go over how I am going to present it on Thursday. I have to do a video presentation where I will submit to Moodle.  I have a total of 5 deliverables This project has had its struggles and its ups. I have enjoyed making this project and working with the nurse. She is such a lovely lady and I am delighted that I got to work with her. Some weeks I struggled to find motivation to do this project but the other weeks I really enjoyed working on it and coming up with ideas. It was a great experience to work with a real life client. It gave me the experience I need when working with other clients in the real world when I have a full time job.  Not being able to set the nurse up with hoot suite was very disappointing as it would've helped the nurse out so

Professional Project

  Professional Project  Project 14  Week 11  I am coming into the last week of this project.  At the moment I am working on my presentation. This presentation is important to me because its when I will be presenting all my work to my fellow classmates and all supervisors.  I don't have much left to complete. I am nearly done and nearly finished all my deliverables. This week I have to work on my report, summary document and my personal contribution. So far I have completed:  My poster for where the instagram QR Code will go the feedback form and the QR code to go with it. This is laminated and will be scanned by students after their appointment. I have created 7 tiktoks (7minutes), each tiktok is about one topic and 5 facts on each topic.  I have created a video of how appointments work with the nurse I have created a get to know me tiktok where the nurse gets to talk about herself and this will give students an insight on how friendly the nurse is.  The process of the poster went

 Professional project  Project 14  Week 10  This week I have my meeting with the nurse on Friday morning. During this meeting we are going to make the 'get to know me tiktok' which will be around one/two minutes long. Along with that, the survey I done the other day with my fellow students where I asked them what they'd like to see more facts on certain topics. The answers I got, I gave them to the nurse and she is currently gathering up 5 facts on each topic.  Our topics are: cocaine ketamine nitrous oxide  preventing a hangover  effects of vaping  These facts on each topic will be created on tiktok by myself, edited and then uploaded to the nurses instagram page.  I have been looking at apps that would Deirdre to schedule her posts and that will be more time consuming. I had a look at Hootsuite and Sendible. Both of these platforms cost 100euro a month to join. This was such a let down and such a pity when I came to realise this. Professional Project

  Week 9  Professional Project  Project 14  This week I had my final meeting before easter break. I met with my supervisor. She went over my presentation from the week before. She informed me that I don't have enough work done to pass this module. I can't lie that scared me a bit as I felt I was doing okay with the work I had. It's been hard though because the nurse has said a number of times that she doesn't have time to do everything I want to do and most the stuff I want to do involves the nurse, like the tiktok videos, doing a Q&A on instagram etc. After my meeting I knew I needed to do something more  Here is what I've come up with: Design a poster for the instagram QR code to give it a home. I will design this poster on illustrator and follow the process, define, discover, develop and deliver  Create a qr code for my fellow classmates and get them to answer a few questions, these answers will be the base of a Q&A that the nurse and I will do on instagr

  Week 8  Professional Project  Project 14  This week I had a meeting with my supervisor and we went over what I've done so for for my project. I also had my presentation in front of all supervisors and my classmates. I was presenting what I'd done so far for the project, my process. Below I will add in screenshots of my powerpoint in which I presented. I felt that my presentation went well, compared to other project I felt I was up to date. This week I have made progress on my project. Over the week I arranged a meeting with the nurse to go over questions she wanted to include into her feedback form. To start I generated a QR that linked up to a feedback I made on Jotform. Here I created a feedback which the idea was after a student has their appointment with he nurse they would scan the QR the nurse has on her desk and fill out a feedback form about their appointment. The idea of this is that nurse can look back over honest feedback from the students and see if there is anything she can improve during the appointments. The nurse wanted the form to be short and sweet. More tick the box kind of questions.  Her wishes were "I think it will be quick and short with just a tick the box answer with very satisfied, satisfied, neutral, unsatisfied and very unsatisfied across the top.   PROJECT 14  WEEK FIVE  OVERVIEW  This week I am starting develop this project. So far, I have create a QR code for the instagram. This week I am doing up Q&A questions for the instagram story and I am creating another QR code with a feedback form.   I meet up with Irene, my supervisor on campus to go over a few parts to my scope document and make sure everything was ready to be submitted. My deliverable section she said needed to be more details and in bullet points rather than one big paragraph.  Here are some screenshots of my scope document.
